The extension does not receive or process:

We have no servers receiving data from the extension.

2. How the Extension Works

WeLookup analyzes publicly available webpage resources including:

• Loaded scripts
• Network request hostnames
• Browser performance metrics (such as TTFB, FCP, and request count)

This analysis:

• Runs entirely on your device
• Does not identify or track you
• Does not send any data to WeLookup servers

3. Local Storage

The extension uses Chrome session storage to temporarily store scan results inside your current browser tab.

• Data never leaves your device
• Data is cleared automatically when the session ends
• You can clear it anytime by refreshing or closing the tab

4. No Tracking, No Analytics

WeLookup does not use analytics, telemetry, cookies, fingerprinting, or any form of user tracking.

5. Permissions

• "tabs" — used only to determine the active tab for display.
• "storage.session" — used only to store scan results locally.
• "<all_urls>" — required to read publicly visible resources on pages you visit.

These permissions are not used to collect personal data.

6. Third-Party Data

WeLookup does not send data to any third-party services.

7. Children's Privacy

The extension collects no data from users of any age, including children under 13.
